New Rockee Book Finished!
The new issue of the Reading with Rockee series is finished!
Titled Rockee’s First Field Trip, the newest book tells the story of Rockee getting lost on a field trip. After looking for clues and asking questions, Rockee finds his classmates again.
The story is written by Sophie Grimm, a student at Rockford Middle School Center for Environmental Studies.  “I had the idea for the story for at least a year. All the field trips that I’ve been on made me want to write the story,” said Sophie Grimm, “ I thought writing the book was really fun but it was a bigger job than I expected.  It was fun trying something new!”
This is the sixth book in the series all written by Rockford Area Schools students. If you would like a copy of the newest book, or any previous issues, contact the district office at 763-477-9165. The cost is $10 per book.
